Time to myself........

Hope everyone has had a good weekend???

Steve went fishing yesterday so I managed to get into my craft room and spend a few hours sat motivating myself to just make some cards and try some different things.......

I got my old sketch pictures and colour combo's out to see if I could inspire myself rather than just casing other peoples cards (although I never case them exactly!!)

So rather than just make a card because I have to (imminent birthday/celebration/anniversary) I wanted to just 'create', and here are the results.............

My oh my.......how long has it been???

Forever it seems - I just dont get any time to do any card making these days, and when a birthday crops up it just feels a bit like a chore to make one that I have even contemplated buying one!!!!!!

So I took a couple of hours today to make a few cards - 2 birthdays next week so it was quite essential that I made these but wanted to just try and relax and enjoy my craft time without getting stressed about not doing other things.........like getting the housework done or the washing!!

This first card is for my boss - she is leaving work to go and do something completely different and I wanted to make her something to say 'thanks' for all of her support and guidance.

 Having not done any crafting for a while I had to search the internet for some inspiration and have actually cased these cards from some very talented ladies out there.........just put my own spin on them x

This is for Steve's granddaughter who is turning 7 on Tuesday............no doubt she will barely notice the card and just want to see if there is any money in it!!!!  Bless her.......

It is also my very good friend, Donna's, birthday on Tuesday (I wont mention her age though...) and I wanted to make her something special........

The little box has post it notes in it and a magnet to close it..........

So, Mum, as you requested I have managed to not only make some cards but also put them on my blog, which I have neglected terribly - I need to win the lottery and become a house wife so I can get some cards made LOL xx

Back in the game!!!!!!

Hello blogging world!!! It has been quite some time since I did any blogging and if you are reading this you will have noticed that I have stopped using my old blog and you have clicked on the website and come here. So what has been happening.........as always work was interfering with, well everything really, and I never got the time to take any photo's (winter months!!) post or do anything. We have been wanting to move for what seems like forever and finally a house we had been intersted in for ages became vacant we jumped at the chance to move....... I of course then packed just about everything in about 1/2 a day (seriously!!) and was then totally without any of my stamping stuff for about 2-3 months now and have been itching to get back to it. With unpacking and other things, we have now been in the house for just over a month and my fabulous man has put up a work surface and some shelves so I am, as the title suggests........ back in the game!!!! I decided to case a few cards to get myself started again so here is what I have done so far......... enjoy!!!
